It all started on one of those days—the kind where work stress, dating apps, wedding invites, tax deadlines, protein goals, and trying to drink enough water all collided. I said to a friend, “I just need to walk like five miles and maybe I’ll feel better.” So I did—actually, I walked six—and surprisingly, I did feel better.
That walk, combined with a growing love for the “sporty chic” aesthetic and a craving for a creative outlet just for me, led to the birth of Six Mile Sunday: a playful Instagram concept celebrating a Sunday strolll. I created the branding, wrote the copy, and made it a space for designed encouragement, memes, and a fun internet-space (which we can all use more of)
What started as a solo stress walk quickly turned into a fun, low-pressure community—where six miles or one, everyone was welcome. 😉
Six mile sunday
personal brand project
Starting with a moodboard that combined playfulness, movement, and a hint of nostalgia, I set out to build a brand that could keep up with the trends but still had staying power. The result has been a collection of visuals that feel like inside jokes between friends—bold, irreverent, and a little nostalgic. Rooted in movement but never too serious, the brand blends vintage athleticism with internet-era humor to create something that feels both current and timeless.
